Unfortunately, if the Senate and House had done a better job in those years we would still be in power and the US would not be broke. They went along with Fannie and Freddie...they enlarged the govt...gave the Rats the things they really wanted. Now..we will see if the GOP has learned it’s lesson. I listened to Ryan give a great interview on CNBC today. Now we need to follow his advice.
