Hillary clinton is really not the SOS it is Michelle Obama she is just a plastic doll sent to represent. Al Jazeera being real news is like Obama being a real president. But honestly me thinks she means the US might be losing the information war in Libya. Really, it is like the accomplice media will truly show what is honestly happening in Libya. Remeber Wag the Dog. Libya is Obama’s Wag the Pork Belly - He just will piss off the Muslims that much more.

Agreed..but question...even if we drill all over the US, what will stop the commodity traders and speculators from jacking up the prices even if we have a larger supply? Would not part of the solution be to sell American oil directly to Americans and bypass the manipulated commodities market? Why don’t I hear many people in the know speaking on this?

You're right. It's a global oil market. Just increasing drilling isn't going to dramatically lower the price for a long time. But every little bit helps. But the key is we should do it for national security reasons in case supplies are cut off.

I would think that is how we should do this. Drill our own oil sell it to us. Of course by pass commodities market. I am just assuming that is how it would be done.

I’ve been listening to WWitv for almost two years now. Intersting selections. I agree with Hillary...about time someone called it as it is. Ever since Bo took office I often read the telegram amd other British news sites...also Israels....just to get some balance on world news...also RT the Russian network....but I have heard any website from Russia is risky...many known to have all sorts of bugs and such which can load onto your computer because Russia does little to make the Internet sites in their country safe.

Absolutely and many have been calling for this for years now as Arab countries etc. have to strong of leverage over our nation because of our dependence on that oil. Interesting is as soon as the Us indicates they are going to drill or open up drilling we always see a drop in the ail rates. It's been a tit-for tat thing for years. However with the worlds nations shifting as they are today...and not like ever before...our nation needs to focus more on securing our nation and it's people considering what' coming now....of course that won't happen under this Pres.

Linux is an Operating system...runs on X86 or x86_64 processors....like windows does.

You can download an iso image ...that you can then burn to a DVD or CD and run it from the DVD Reader.

There a lot of choices but Ubuntu is a good choice.

Yahoo...H/t to Drudge:

Rebels corner fleeing Gadhafi forces after battle

**********************************EXCERPT**************************************

By PAUL SCHEMM, Associated Press Paul Schemm, Associated Press47 mins ago

BREGA, Libya – Rebel forces routed troops loyal to Moammar Gadhafi in a fierce battle over an oil port Wednesday, scrambling over the dunes of a Mediterranean beach through shelling and an airstrike to corner their attackers. While they thwarted the regime's first counteroffensive in eastern Libya, opposition leaders still pleaded for outside airstrikes to help them oust the longtime leader.

The attack on Brega, a strategic oil facility 460 miles (740 kilometers) east of Gadhafi's stronghold in Tripoli, illustrated the deep difficulties the Libyan leader's armed forces — an array of militiamen, mercenaries and military units — have had in rolling back the uprising that has swept over the entire eastern half of Libya since Feb. 15.

In the capital of Tripoli, Gadhafi warned against U.S. or other Western intervention, vowing to turn Libya into "another Vietnam," and saying any foreign troops coming into his country "will be entering hell and they will drown in blood."

At least 10 anti-Gadhafi fighters were killed and 18 wounded in the battle for Brega, Libya's second- largest petroleum facility, which the opposition has held since last week. Citizen militias flowed in from a nearby city and from the opposition stronghold of Benghazi hours away to reinforce the defense, finally repelling the regime loyalists.

The attack began just after dawn, when several hundred pro-Gadhafi forces in 50 trucks and SUVs mounted with machine guns descended on the port, driving out a small opposition contingent and seizing control of the oil facilities, port and airstrip. But by afternoon, they had lost it all and had retreated to a university campus 5 miles (7 kilometers) away.
