Class sex toy demonstration causes controversy

Northwestern students and administrators are defending an explicit after-class demonstration involving a woman being publicly penetrated by a sex toy on stage in the popular Human Sexuality course last week.
The optional presentation last Monday, attended by about 120 students, featured a naked non-student woman being repeatedly sexually stimulated to the point of orgasm by the sex toy, referred to as a "f**ksaw." The device is essentially a motorized phallus.
The 600-person course, taught by psychology Prof. John Michael Bailey, is one of the largest at NU. The after-class events, which range from a question-and-answer session with swingers to a panel of convicted sex offenders, are a popular feature of the class. But they're optional and none of the material is included on exams.

"I think that these after-class events are quite valuable. Why? One reason is that I think it helps us understand sexual diversity," he said, according to an audio file obtained by The Daily.
More sickness and filth, courtesy of "diversity".

And for God’s sake, what use could a “Human Sexuality” degree possibly have? Probably right up there with “Women’s Studies”. What a waste.

I like to think so. She was embarrassed more than anything. I mean, come on? Really?

Swinging seems to be enjoying a renaissance now, too. I thought it had died out in the early 80’s until someone subtly attempted to recruit me and my wife not long ago. Not to mention, CBS had a prime time series about swingers a couple of years back.
Our parents used to say we’re going to hell in a hand basket. Well, it seems we’ve arrived.

And parents are paying $40,000 a year for their children to attend these colleges. Actually many of them take out student loans provided by *us* the taxpayers. Yes, as with the miserable public schools, WE get to pay for what we don't use and/or detest.
My daughter will never set a single toe in a public school or secular modernist "public" college, yet I (and you) get to pay for both regardless.

This is somewhat off topic, but my wife was snookered into going to a Tupperware Party this Saturday last. It was in the neighborhood. She came back a few minutes after she left, her potato salad in hand, and said, That wasn't a Tupperware Party at all. Turns out the host had dozens and dozens of dildos and such on her coffee table for display. I've never heard of such, but apparently toy parties are becoming more and more popular.
If this was actually billed as a "Tupperware Party", by that name, I'd guess that the Tupperware Co. would be most interested in those items being hawked under the auspices of their corporate name and logo.
There isn't a mainstream company out there that wouldn't react (or, rather, have corporate counsel react) VERY forcefully to the kind of situation you describe.

We’d solve this crap over night if you could only receive grants and subsidized student loans for the Sciences, Math and Engineering. At the least, the subjects taught under those grants and loans should have to have a net positive production of TANGIBLE wealth...

Institutions of higher learning are cess pits of depravity. People sending their wet behind the ears 17 and 18 year olds off to college need to carefully investigate what's going on. Kids are influenced by what's going on around them. The screaming nosedive into the abyss is IMO getting near the crash point.
