Why I don’t like Ron Paul
Politicons ^ | March 2nd | Henry D'Andrea

Posted on 03/02/2011 8:45:30 AM PST by conservativeforpalin

After releasing my Top 5 GOP frontrunners list for March, many Ron Paul supporters were very unhappy not seeing him in the top five. They left tons of comments complaining that I didn’t include him and saying he is the only true hope for 2012. As most of my regular readers know, I do not like Ron Paul, and I support Sarah Palin for President. So, to not seem biased, I wanted to tell you why I don’t like Ron Paul. However, not to leave you in the cold, in terms of 2012, if he were the Republican Nominee, I would support him.

First off, many Republicans are strongly pro-war, and Ron Paul is not just anti-war, but he has adopted some of the more obnoxious and inflammatory rhetoric from the Left about the war that is extremely grating. Hell, according to Paul, Iraq is a war for oil and empire, engineered by neocons, and in Paul’s book, we deserved to be attacked on 9/11. That is not Conservative at all, and quite frankly disgusting. I do not want the President of the United States with that mindset. Additionally, Paul’s inconsiderate, “we must leave immediately, regardless of the consequences,” position on Iraq comes across as poorly thought out. Even though Paul is opposed to the war, the disengaging of the United States from the war immediately and without consequences is very thoughtless. It’s something you might hear from a Liberal college student at an anti-war rally. Even President Obama and Secretary Clinton, all whom have spent months trying to convince America that they’re the most anti-war of all, have said we may be in Iraq for years to come, though Obama has set a date for withdraw.

Secondly, Paul wants to get rid of the CIA...............

Google Ron Paul against Israel and get ready for a long read.

No, you are the one that posted that Ron Paul cursed Israel. Can you back it up or not? I find no references on Google to Ron Paul cursing Israel. Did you just make this up? If so, it's libelous. If not, please direct us to where you learned that Ron Paul cursed Israel.

What I don't like about Ron Paul is that he claims he is against earmarks, and then we still end up paying $8 million for marketing wild American shrimp and $2 million for shrimp research. Then Ron Paul votes against every budget knowing full well the budget will pass and he will still get that money into his district.

Lord knows Texas won't survive without a commuter rail line between Houston and Galveston.

Don't get all caught up with the "cursed" wording. Ron Paul recently threw Israel "under the bus". This does not mean he actually threw the country under a bus.

Ron Paul does not back the State of Israel, which is exactly what Hezzbola, Islamic Jihad, Hamas, the Iranians, Muslim Brotherhood and the entire Islamic Caliphate want.

As such, Ron Paul has "cursed" Israel.

Ron Paul is no different than Code Pink in regards to foreign policy. Paul even beliefs that Iran has a right to nuclear bombs. Every position Paul takes in regards to foreign policy is anti-American and appease our enemies. Then to top it all of the pervert Paul supports attacking our military by claiming that homosexual behavior has to be treated as equal to heterosexual behavior. Paul is an immoral pervert and an anti-American Code Pink loser.

Paultards cannot “google”.. you must hand them all information on a Silver Platter, and after you have, they will say the following...

“I’m Not looking at that trash... you have No Evidence!”

Ron Paul and the Paulestinians, just like the LaRouchites, are the Westboro Baptist Church of politics.

This country is in big trouble and conservatives and/or the GOP must win the election for president and get more US senators in 11/2012.

We can’t do it by running Ron Paul or Sarah Palin. Both have too much baggage and past glitches reported by the media (even if the media created it from lies) to over come in a winning campaign. Some of the others such as Mike Huckabee are not winners as well. We need a great candidate that is a winner as well as a real conservative. Look at our struggle in Wisconsin against the left. The left fights hard to stay in power and we can’t win the fight unless we have candidates clean, shiny, conservative and likable.

For some reason, I picture Ron Paul with his slavishly devoted followers on some hilltop waiting for the mothership to come back.

I’m sure you and I can agree to bring home troops in many places around the world in countries that refuse to defend themselves. US taxpayers should not be subsidizing Europe or Japan’s defense. I’m willing to bet that this is also the overall thinking of most US Conservatives. That’s a far cry from accusing us of wanting US troops in every global conflict.

LOL and then they follow that by screeching "NEOCON!"

A "neocon" to them is anybody who doesn't worship Ron Paul.

We are in such trouble here at home we need to pull back and re-group. We have bigger threats in the White House than anywhere else.

I don’t want Ron Paul for President because for every one good idea he has he comes up with 2-3 looney tunes ideas. You never know which day he will be Einstein or which day he will be Groucho.

I don’t understand Paul supporters. For the life of me, I can’t understand why they keep saying he is a conservative, when he clearly is not.
