IIRC Kosovo was already taken over by Muslim’s pushing out people who couldn’t stand the heat, but had lived there far longer than the usurpers. Bill Klinton just assisted in the takeover.

Kosovo didn’t become an ‘independent’ state until the Bush administration. And it was his administration that was one of the first to official recognize the state.

Clinton bombed the Serbs when the Kosovars first got uppity back in the 1990s, though.
