Students at some Oklahoma colleges are wearing empty gun holsters to show their support for three legislative measures that would allow for concealed weapons to be carried on school grounds.
University officials and student governments at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University have been against weapons on campus for years.

I can’t speak to the OU group’s status but I’m pretty sure that Pete will retain his six-shooter. Any attempt by TPTB to change that would most certainly bring the wrath of many alums, including me!
"University of Tulsa law student Spencer Pittman, who graduated from OU and has a 'concealed carry permit', said he is against guns on campus after witnessing a potentially deadly situation." which he goes on to describe.
As expected, there are many different opinions on this subject at the University of Tulsa, even among gun owners.
I will try to follow this story and see how this issue plays out and so should all FREEPERS. This could turn out to be a landmark case for carrying a firearm on a college campus in the USA.
