In a radio interview on Monday, potential 2012 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee repeatedly claims that President Obama grew up in Kenya.
A spokesman for Huckabee later told CBS News that the former Arkansas governor misspoke.
In an interview on WOR's "The Steve Malzberg Show," Huckabee made reference to Mr. Obama's "having grown up in Kenya" and spoke of him growing up "with a Kenyan father and grandfather" - despite the fact that Mr. Obama grew up largely in Hawaii and barely knew his father at all.
In responding to Malzberg's question about whether "we deserve to know more about this man" and his origins, Huckabee responded that "I would love to know more."
"What I know is troubling enough," Huckabee said of the president. "And one thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, very different than the average American."
A spokesman for Huckabee later said the former governor "meant to say the President grew up in Indonesia."
In the interview, Huckabee also pointed to the fact that Mr. Obama in 2009 returned a bust of Winston Churchill to the British Embassy, describing the act as "a great insult" to the British. (He did not mention that the bust had been on loan.)
I did't say his being an Arab is the problem per se; I said his deception; i.e., lying about being an Arab or pretending to be one half black that is the problem.
I wouldn't want to cast my vote for the first black president and find he has been lying to me and pretending to be black all along.
If his father really is from Kenya, then that is what the case is. I don't like being taken for a fool and neither should 95 or so percent of the blacks who pulled the lever mistakenly believing they were voting for a black man.

Nope, the Constitution is telling us that one must be a NBC to be President and that the son of an American mother and a Kenyan father is not a natural born citizen. That's why Obama is NOT eligible. You really are ignorant of U.S. history if you truly believe that Republicans "despise African people". Also, for future reference, as soon as you throw that race card out there, you lose. This is 2011 and there's a "black man" in the White House, remember?
I just watched the peeps—including Howard Dean today—on Morning Joe discussing this, and actually trying to explain it away, downplay it, say it isn’t at all like Huckabee, maybe it was just a comedic riff. No one said he was a moron. What do you suppose they would have said had Sarah Palin made those statements in a radio interview? I think they would love for Huckabee to be the nominee. He gets pre-2008 John McCain treatment from the media right now, but they would love to eviscerate him—and they have lots of ammunition—if he gets the nomination.
Sarah Palin is the candidate the media desperately wants to destroy before she can become the nominee. And there is a clear reason for this.
The GOP often lets the MSM choose our candidate. I hope this time is different.

Palin is stunningly beautiful and unelectable. Women’s won’t vote for her. She has this adjective “unqualified” constantly following her. But I will of course vote for her if she is the nominee. I am not yet convinced that she will run.

Islam has its own law called Shariah that forbids muslims from folowing other laws.

It is forbidden, shariah is to be the only law for muslims.
