(CT FReepers need to "target" Murphy (D-CT)

Why were Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas guests of honor at an event hosted by billionaire Tea Party backers Charles and David Koch?
And don't we have a right to know when Supreme Court justices accept trips and gifts from individuals and/or organizations - especially those with interests before the court? Like Charles and David Koch, who are spending millions of dollars to repeal health reform in Congress -- and in the courts.
Chris has introduced a common-sense bill that allows the public timely access to information about trips and gifts for Supreme Court justices paid for by outside groups...

Looks like Chris Murphy ('RAT - 5th district) - and his BIG union contributors - is leading the charge in attacking the more conservative members of our Supreme Court.
Keep an eye on this 'RAT... he's already ramping up big time for his 2012 Senate campaign.

Be careful what you wish for, Mr. Murphy - That light you’re so anxious to shine will also spill on your ‘RAT libturd friends on the Supreme Court, and they might have more to hide - like a criminal weasel named George Soros.

"FReepers need to "target" Murphy (D-CT)"
Who's keeping a spreadsheet?
Thoughts for the day
- Republicans win in 2012. They are going to try very hard to force an insider candidate like Gingrich or Romney on us.
- Conservatives are kept too busy. Downsize some, and give a day a week to joining/starting Tea Party action groups if you really want things to change.
- Get rid of the TV. Even the most aware people are swallowing subtle propaganda through the TV.
- Muslim atrocities in the USA are sure to punctuate the next few years. When they occur, try to open the public debate about muslim immigration. With each new muslim atrocity, the level of public discussion about the issue deserves to increase.

Somebody needs to tack an amendment on any bill he offers, requiring SCOTUS justices to recuse themselves from cases when they have a personal and financial conflict of interest, an ethical standard every other judge is supposed to adhere to but SCOTUS justices are supposed to be so honorable that they don’t even need to be TOLD to do it.
That would get Sotomayor and Kagan out of all the cases where Obama’s eligibility is an issue.
This guy is so obviously worried about straining out a gnat while the huge camel in the room is being swallowed wholesale without a blink.

FUTURE screaming headline..”Chris Murphy (D-Conn) was booked onto the SAME plane out of Washington as JOHN SMITH, the notorious TEA PARTY organizer.” There have been demands for an investigation of possible wrong-doing”
LEFTISTS demand investigation of Murphy
Conservatives demand investigation of Smith.
Think I’m exaggerating? No I’m not. Wait and see

I can’t believe my district voted this libtard in again!!! We had some half decent repubs running against him, but in the gerrymandered 5th district, the tax eaters in Waterbury always win out. I’m ashamed to say my union local supported him, but then again I’ve been ashamed of my union a lot these days :-(

I don't have a problem with this bill as far as disclosure goes. I do not think a Justice should have to give their reasons for recusal, however.

FWIW, I noticed last fall that Murphy signs were EVERYWHERE in the Simsbury/Avon area... on nearly every front lawn. I thought we had a chance in the 5th district (and the 4th), but - as usual - CT voters come through in the end and vote their 'RATs back into office, no matter how bad / corrupt they may be.

Yeah, lets see if Murphy and the 'RATs (and unions) go after the liberal members of the Supreme Court with equal zeal... I presume that there are sufficient numbers of conservatives to illuminate any disclosed conflicts of liberal members of the Court.

Liberals can whine, cry and attack all they want.
Fact is, the Constitution is for all Americans. That includes Supreme Court Justices.
