Gun used in Mexico slaying of U.S. agent came from Texas;
Authorities say a gun sold legally at a U.S. gunshop to a U.S. citizen was then smuggled into Mexico, where it was one of those used by a Zeta drug cartel hit squad to kill a U.S. federal agent last month.

Are you implying that our GOVERNMENT and the protector of our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS openly LIES TO US?
The State Run Media cannot control the truth any more. This information is getting out all over the place.
Still doesn’t excuse the shooting. Find the muderer and gun him down like a dog in the street.
We need to begin shipping all our guns in Texas down that way.
Lead first.
Well that tears it! Time to disarm America to prevent tragedies like this from ever happening again!

I would be interested in learning the source for that assertion about the BATF. I am an NRA member and no friend of the BATF at all. Any light we can shine on BATF's shady practices will help private gun ownership in the future.
As does the media.
frep search “project gunwalker”
THE GUN SHOP DIDN’T SMUGGLE THE GUN.
THE U.S. CITIZEN THAT BOUGHT THE GUN SMUGGLED THE GUN TO MESSICO.

DMN tries soooo hard to look balanced but is an epic fail. I canceled my subscription two years ago.
occasionally I would read online (while throwing up a little in my mouth). I never registered because they let you read about four articles before blocking with the “must register” BS.
Several days ago they began the “must register” before delivering any article. I think they are in money trouble.
Ha ha. They might be starting that inevitable slide into
the toilet like the Dallas Times Herald did. I hope so.
Lemme get this right. They smuggle their drugs over the border and we buy them and it’s our fault. We smuggle our guns over the border and they buy them and it is our fault.
Hmmmmmm.
You can believe that BS if you want to, but first off the numbers don't add up since only a small percentage of the guns being smuggled into Mexico are being seized. To make any significance in the numbers you would need a huge number of guns. Second for that to work, the Mex govt would have to be part of the operation, and they aren't.
This is Hillary Clinton's State Dept. behind this. They're arming somebody up.
The question is who and for what?
I’m thinking that gunshop owners have been the biggest critics/sources of info on “project gunwalker”. But your right; not the SUV’s fault that someone got hurt, but the driver’s. Not the gunshop or the gun, but the purchaser or the gunman.
So this operation has OBAMA and HOLDER all over it. Then they will vilify us for owning firearms.
Don't listen to me, listen to Senator Charles Grassley, and the people who did the actual investigative reporting.
“Oh, golly, don’t mention that the BATF actually put the gun in the criminals hand,”

The “source for that assertion” is an ATF whistle blower (perhaps more than one)currently working with Senator Grassley and his committee investigating Project “Gunwalker” and the agency’s involvement in the December 14th death of Border Guard Brian Terry. The ATF promoted the sale of weapons to KNOWN straw purchasers for transport to Mexican drug cartels. The ATF facilitated the transport across the border. Google “Project Gunwalker” and you will find all the info you could want. It is a disgrace which must be exposed to the American public.
I was referring to the headline. If the Gun Shop is part of Gunwalker, they should speak up.
The U.S. is being attacked from outside, ANA from the inside(ATF)
