Message to Liberals

Liberals hate Sarah Palin, not only because she can win in 2012, but because she is a woman, pretty, smart, witty, confident, refreshing, normal, and bold with an ability to inspire. This drives Liberals crazy. She scares them more than anyone else. They’re so afraid of her, that they will do anything to desecrate her.
This article is not about endorsing Sarah Palin for president (Not Yet). It is about illustrating the liberal media’s ability to brand an image. Case in point, conservatives saying Palin is not smart enough to be president.
The Left launched their “Sarah Palin is Stupid” campaign the next day after her incredible VP nomination acceptance speech. A woman, pretty, smart, witty, confident and bold with an ability to inspire and fire up the conservative base, Sarah Palin was the Left’s worst nightmare. They were livid. The only thing which could have made it worse would have been if Palin was black. The Left would have surely lost their minds.
The clarion call went out, “Palin MUST be destroyed!”
When Sarah Palin appeared on Saturday Night Live, I watched with a bunch of my conservative friends. My friends laughed and made comments such as, “This is great. It shows Palin is a good sport and doesn’t take herself too seriously.”
I thought, “This is wrong. Why help the Left sell the message to their audience that Palin is stupid?” Humor is a powerful sales tool.
The assault on Palin’s intellect intensified daily. Every word out of Palin’s mouth was dissected and placed under a microscope. Then, viewed through a lens tainted with the paradigm that “Palin is stupid”. Who amongst us could withstand our every utterance judged with such extreme scrutiny?

They couldn't figure out Reagan and were in basic denial before, during, and after his historically successful presidency. I see the same thing here with Palin.

I’m not so confident. GOP have a sizable liberal/establishment types, who hate her. Her chance of winning POTUS is very high for 2016 imho, not so much for 2012. Another 4 years of Obama and another lost for the RINOs will destroy their credibility and open the way for someone out of the box

I really don’t see why the left hates her so much, nor do I see why the right likes her so much. She talks a good game but basically gave up in Alaska when the heat got too much for her. Also some of the things she has said make me wonder just how “right wing” she is. In particular her support of affirmative action and Title IX (and feminism in general) seem to me to be fairly left wing-ish. As far as I can see she’s just another politician and a fairly weak one at that given that she didn’t stick it out in Alaska where she could have used the time to increase her street creds as someone that can govern. I’m far more impressed with Walker or Christie than her and think that either one would do a much better job than she would.
It depends on the state of the USD, Bond market, stockmarket. If the FED can keep printing for 2 more years without much disruption, then Obama chance of winning is high. If the USD collapse between now and the election, then Palin have a chance

They like to through that big bad word “hate” around like a bunch of liberals. I think they have the bad misconception that it will make people sit down and be quite. The truth is that 26 to 33% of the people say they will not vote for her. Now guess who hates whom. They hate the people that say they would not vote for her.
I actually think the template was set early, maybe moments after her speech in Ohio where she accepted McCain’s offer to be a VP candidate. There was a collective OMG moment for the lib mob, something akin to an epiphany. Backed into a corner with few angles of attack they had to make her stupid. The non-political Palin is just a friendly neighbor who attends church, remembers your Christmas Card, and listens with real empathy when troubles come. She HAD to be stupid because her character appeared to be unassailable.
