Krugman did not absorb the lesson of Kent State. The left thought that after the four students were killed that the nation would finally support them. The shock was that the people of this country were sick to death of the students and their constant demonstrations and violence. When the students were killed the country said in essence it’s about time. Yeah, Krugman, students did violent things in the 60’s and 70’s.
