The media does not select the candidate. The media is a convenient, and deserving, scapegoat for those ultimately responsible for our candidates, the voters.

1. The voters are wholly responsible for electing the POTUS. No one can excuse their vote for Obama or for anyone else except McCain (in the General).
2. It is well less than 2 years and there is no front runner for the GOP nomination. It is nearly granted Obama will be the Democrook nominee.
