The advice, which would be given to women considering terminations, has caused anger, with anti-abortion campaigners accusing doctors' leaders of forcing an "absurdly liberal agenda" on women in a vulnerable situation.

Better to get an abortion than to have your partner use a condom? While neither is, ahem, ideal, what industrial strength Kool-Aid has PP been downing by the barrel? I forgot the other aspect of the sales pitch. She also stressed how likely contraceptives are to fail, with the implication that they are SO likely to fail, there isn't much point in using them.
The whole goal of PP is to make obscene profit, by whatever means possible.

No, the abortion advocates completely ignore all research showing links between having an abortion and later having an elevated risk of breast cancer. The Susan Komen Foundation denies any links and refuses to fund any research on this subject. Another unpublicized risk of abortion is to future children. Women are warned not to smoke during pregnancy, because of the danger to the fetus (some die, others have low birth weight which puts them at greater chance of dying within the first year after birth). A past abortion is just as dangerous as smoking--but unlike smoking, there is nothing to do to mitigate the risk.

Everyone has forgotten why people were created to have children in the first place, thinking it some Darwinian accident. Bingo. Comments people with big families get, in public, range from "Don't you know how that happens?" and "What's the matter, your TV broken?" As if children are some kind of unwanted side effect from sex.

Just for the record, immobility/inactivity for a fairly
short period has definite health risks.

OK, Mr. Literal, I was merely pointing out that everything has risks.
But go ahead and act like two year old. It fits you quite well.
