!!@#$%^&*()_)!
Not sure, but I do believe he was the one pushing for idea to sunset the collective bargaining part of the bill to 2013. I believe he's been a known weak link since the beginning.
Either way, this is damaging because it makes the union/left believe they are peeling off votes. The other 18 Republican's need to make a unified statement tomorrow.
Interesting in looking at livefeed. Lots of police presence on first floor anyway. So many of the protesters look like kids—wonder if their attitude is that they don’t pay taxes, what do they care?
Some twitter feed I'd have to go back and look for and what someone else said upthread. It might only be a rumor, but those are the claims being made and it wouldn't be surprising because this guy was our weakest link.
“So many of the protesters look like kids”
I wonder if the kids are getting extra credit points for participation.
If they only knew......
Reality is gonna hit hard, and when it does, it will hit them the hardest. I hope they enjoy this bit of revelry before their lifetime of indentured servitude begins.
No, that is the Majority Leader, Scot Fitzgerald.
I’m trying to remember what Dale Schultz did a few years back that incensed Republicans. If he causes this to fail, his career as a Republican is over.
You mean like half the adults in my neighborhood?
Well, I know the Tea Party is busy recalling the Fleabag 14’s most vunerable senators, so maybe they can start a drive up there for him while they are passing thru on way to recall the Senator from Escanaba area...
Just saw where the protestors posted we need 3—make that 2 courageous senators, so looks like they think they peeled off one. Probs Shultz...
Not sure about a couple years ago, but Schultz is the one who has been trying for an amendment to sunset this bill after two years.

Law enforcement officers know the difference between right and wrong, and Governor Walkers attempt to eliminate the collective voice of Wisconsins devoted public employees is wrong, continued Palmer. That is why we have stood with our fellow employees each day and why we will be sleeping among
them tonight.
Fire all of them. There are many without jobs who would be willing to be trained and working as police. This governor had better get hardened, and soon.
Fox Feed is working again:

Protest leader just announced that they will be allowed to stay there all night— no one who wants to stay will be taken out of the building.
Loud cheers from the crowd.
Mob Tyranny in action
Ruminating on Dale Schultz: He served as Senate majority leader in 2004. I am trying to remember how he got there. I do remember that it was controversial. It was either when the Republican from Racine was recalled, or it was when someone switched their vote on Concealed Carry. Does anyone remember? Republicans in my district were furious at aome stunt that he pulled and he was not reelected as Majority Leader.
Yes, I know about the current controversy, but I’m trying to remember the past. What I’m trying to say is that this guy is not new to controversy. He’s a worm who will turn on you at the first chance.
Heck no! They already have tenure, and they don’t even have a fake degree yet!
Hot Shot Cattle prods and bayonets! They will move!
Yup, sounds like they peeled off 1 Republican and now the police won't be enforcing the law and forcing them out.
Not a good day for democracy, and the majority of the public doesn't seem in any way outraged.
