Maybe they can talk Trumka into doing his old “Da Bears” routine......
I wonder if durring Lil Davids Scott Walker MTP interview, the voice David hears in his earpiece will be Trumkas feeding the questions to him??
Anyway, that's a good article. Here's another by Mark Steyn:
You dont have to go to Athens to find public servants happy to take it out on the public. In Madison, politicized doctors provide fake sick notes for politicized teachers to skip class. In New Yorks Christmas snowstorm, Sanitation Department plough drivers are unable to clear the streets, with fatal consequences for some residents. On the other hand, they did manage to clear the snow from outside the Staten Island home of Sanitation Dept head honcho John Doherty, while leaving all surrounding streets pristinely clogged. Three hundred Sanitation Department workers have salaries of over $100,000 per year. In retirement, you get a pension of 66 grand per annum plus excellent health benefits, all inflation proofed.
Thats what collective bargaining is about: It enables unions rather than citizens to set the price of government. It is, thus, a direct assault on republican democracy, and it needs to be destroyed. Unlovely as they are, the Greek rioters and the snarling thugs of Madison are the logical end point of the advanced social democratic state: not an oppressed underclass, but a spoiled overclass, rioting in defense of its privileges and insisting on more subsidy, more benefits, more featherbedding, more government.
You’re right. I did a search on Bush and gasoline prices yesterday. It really shows the media/press bias today. Then, Bush was pilloried and today there is virtually nothing on the rising prices. There’s even a ho-hum at the thought of $5 per gallon prices.
I’d like to see Walker announce that the layoff notices will be sent out starting at noon tomorrow...
You’re right. It’s almost incentuous, the Fox network having Huckabee on...this guy is everywhere.
He keeps polling high but I always say I gotta bridge to sell to anyone believes this.
Morning, AB. Christiane on ABC is reporting from Libya. Wow, she’s showing migrants outside the airport. Tons of people with mounds of garbage piling up along the sidewalks. No money nor flights to leave.
Lets see how much the DBM ignores the Jokers falling numbers this week. He's in the tank and sinking fast. between his support of Iran's' dictatorship, screwing up Egypt, Lybia an now his union fiascos, he will be in the thirties by years end.
If David quits interrupting Scott, he just might.
I count three interrupts so far.
We need someone to catch all of DNC Dave's DNC chatting points today?

Headliner:
Gov. Daniels hates rich people, picks on Donald Trump
[Daniels said he would prefer ‘means testing’ and wouldn’t send a SS check to Trump.]
Well I meant "incestuous" but have not had coffee yet.
Obama and the other socialists are on record as wishing for our gas prices to reach European levels. They are happy for this rise at the pump.
Great stuff from Steyn.
As concerns social security and these so-called “entitlements”, I think raising the age to receive is a good one. When SS first came in, people lived an average of 62 years.
But to make people pay in their whole lives....please don’t forget that we pay in 6.2% of our salaries our entire lives , MATCHED BY OUR EMPLOYERS....then deny them the money, is just plain wrong.
Maybe Donald Trump doesn’t need that $1,500 a month income, but he can take the money and give to his preferred charity, a needy family in his church.
To deny them the money is yet another form of re-distributing wealth. For we shall keep Trump’s SS money and give it to those who will vote for bigger gubmint.
ABC, Christiane interviewing Ghaddafi’s (sp?) sons. First son Says they are not using violence; what’s happening in Libya is none of America’s business. Re. diplomats - they are jumping ship because they “think the boat is sinking”. Ghaddafis won’t leave the country.
Talking about reforms - yes, we should have moved faster on reforms. Invites Christiane to take cameras around - everything is calm. The Ghaddafi’s don’t have an assets.
Now talking to the other son. He’s most bothered by not being able to travel....he’s going to hire a lawyer. Sounds like he wants to leave the country. Just wants to live a “normal” life (after talking about going on safaris???!!! -— I think he inherited the “nutty” gene from papa.)
Everyong likes freedom, but it’s hard to control.
They are destined to ride in the back of the bus they just don't realize it yet.
Rove will have to ride on the top of the bus strapped on with cable holding hands with McCain.(If I could only draw....)
That is because The Gov is making swiss cheese out of Master Davey.
