Clueless:"White House will use the "full extent of its capabilities to monitor Qadhafi's behavior,"

Here’s what you need to know from Friday’s White House briefing with press secretary Jay Carney:

-- President Obama will meet with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday to talk about Libya, Carney announced.

-- The White House will use the "full extent of its capabilities to monitor Qadhafi's behavior," Carney said, adding that sanctions haven’t been “finalized.”

-- Carney knocked down the idea that the administration has been slow to respond to the violence in Libya. "There has been great haste in moving to the point where we are today," he said after announcing sanctions.

I don't know how the MSM can sit there listening to this idiot without bursting out laughing at his and his bosses completely inept performance in this crisis.

"full extent of its capabilities to monitor Qadhafi's behavior,"? WTF....To me it appears the White House is using NONE of the capabilities it has to help in this crisis.

First: Obama won't even call out Qadhafi by name. Second: We have NO aircraft carrier battle group in the Med Sea right now even though Egypt, and Tunesia already had overthrows and we could see trouble brewing in Libya TWO WEEKS ago. Third: The morons rented a CATAMARAN to evacuate our citizens and it had to sit in port for days because the seas were too rough. Fourth: We have not moved ANY air assets to the region to enforce a no fly zone to protect the LIbyan people from the is madman using air power to kill civilians. Fifth: We should have acted far sooner to freeze assets, get the Swiss and others to do the same.

There is NOTHING this administration has done that has been the least bit PROACTIVE, and to sit and listen to 'Clueless Carney' fumble, stumble, and bumble is almost more than I can take. When a guy can make Beltway Bobby Gibbs look good, you know we are in deep trouble.

The White House will use the "full extent of its capabilities to monitor Qadhafi's behavior,"

Watching the TV news?

The whole problem with this regime is that they always - and ONLY - do everything to the "full extent of it's capabilities"

I have no problem with BO not stepping up to this war in Libya until the dust settles...the people continue to say they do not want international intervention, that it’s their war, they wil accept medical supplies and food while they go about the business of taking out Gadaffi.

I tend to agree with the people...any country who has sought freedom pays the price of thier countrymen. It leaves them with a sense of honor for having ‘rescued” and “restored” their own country.

Until there is a better idea of who is fighting who there is little any country can do militarily.

Further let the ME nations come to their rescue. As for the oil fields Europe will stabilize that situation when the dust settles as well...and that won’t be any time soon.

Clueless:”White House will use the “full extent of its capabilities to monitor Qadhafi’s behavior,”

News item-Gladys Knight and the Pips to perform at the White House on Monday. To say he’s ‘politically tone deaf’ is the understatement of the century.

This guy is so far in over his head.. he grasps at straws trying to kill time.. or get others to make the decisions. . He should sent the fleet back into theMed as a warning .. but that could make his Muslim friends mad

My friend, the drive by media will not burst out laughing for the simple reason they adored and lionized this outright incompetent buffoon. And......they know he is just a useless empty suit, like the majority of Americans know it. They just cannot take the verbal abuse, jeering and bad mouthing they are about to receive from the American public and voters. Obama is toast. It is just a matter of time until he is either forced to resign, is impeached or badly defeated in November, 2012. Bank on it!!!

Enforcing a no fly zone over Libya is a risk free way of supporting the Libyan people. They are begging for it.

Just now reports of Libyan naval vessels headed toward Benghazi to shell it are another thing we could have helped with had we had a carrier battle group in the Med.

I suppose we shouldn’t have interfered in Rwanda either? Oh yeah, we didn’t and a million people were massacred. Doing nothing but watch while genocide is committed is not a strategy and is morally indefensible.

I don’t think Art Carney was sure The Pips could make it. He tried looking back through his notes but finally had to admit that he would have to check for that information.

I have a growing suspicion that the WH is, when it comes to foreign affairs, opperating in the dark. When Clapper got caught like a deer in the headlights by Leslie Stahls question about the terror plot just thwarted in London, and afterward makes the excse:#39;Well, too busy to be watching the news" !!!!

I suspicion that the UK and others have had ample evidence that the WON may be sharing their intelligence with enemies of free countries and may all have cut off sharing intelligence with the WH.

Our country is in dire trouble as long as this gang of thugs is in the WH.

“The White House will use the “full extent of its capabilities to monitor Qadhafi’s behavior”

BO will have others do this while he has his Motown party and helps the Mooch plan their next vacation. Can’t have presidential duties get in the way of the perks.

I’ll cut Obama some slack in that his hands were somewhat tied until we got our people out. Fine.

But now...sanctions? How about a no-fly zone? That’s what the rebels really want right now.

In the meantime our wonderful President has concerned himself with more important matters such as naming an openly gay man to be his appointment secretary. You would think wide-load Michelle would be a little jealous but she is to busy knocking down baby back ribs while skiing at government expense to worry about her deeply depressed Down Low Club husband.

UN says Libya may need no-fly zone

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110223/ap_on_re_eu/eu_un_libya_no_fly_zone_3

When the UN takes a stronger stand than the Obama Administration, I think I have been proven correct.
