YOUR tax dollars at work, as the SEIU and UAW are basking in taxpayer-funded dues and pension bailout money.

“When you add up the much better health care and pension benefits union workers receive, the total compensation of union workers is 44% higher than that of non-union workers.”

Force people to pay union dues, union dues go to democrats, those domecraps make laws that are beneficial to unions, the wheel goes round and round.....

How do we defund or separate the unions from the dems?

The only dream that moveon.crap wants to save looks like a nightmare for the most of America.

Do we want a guy like Che killing people for the fun of it?

Mao to kill 30 million or so that disagree with them?

Uncle PolPot to wipe out a large percentage of our population?

A Cap n’ Trade nightmare where businesses shut down and 10’s of millions of Americans lose their jobs due to the draconian hoax-based CO2 laws?

The dream of making breathing illegal through the EPA?

The dream of waiting for inadequate medical care and letting the Feds decide what treatment they might give you?

Which Leftist Marxist “dream” are they hoping to preserve?

According to G. Beck, “the American Dream” is a buzz phrase for the Progressives these days. It was coined by Van Jones, and yes, Glenn showed a series of video clips of Progressives “over using” that phrase.

“We expect Congress to do its part” ??????? Wow, WTF???? Not very subtle, are they? Congress, you were bought and paid for - now DO WHAT YOU WERE PUT THERE TO DO!

I asked the mods to put this back in news and activism and to add to the title.

O’Reilly and beck were just talking about this and how Van Jones called for MoveOn to do this tomorrow.

The organizers are expecting thousands to show up in SF and Sacto here in Northern California.

I'm going to check one of the events out tomorrow, and would encorage everyone that reads this thread to go to one near you to counter protest or just observe.

You can go to This Link and put in a zip code to see if there is one of these (un)American Dream rallies near you.

Good deal.

SEIU claims that 13,000 people have signed up for the Denver rally.

I had heard that Van Jones and Netroots were the original force behind this and that they are using it as a kick off to some larger project.

I haven’t been able to find anything to confirm that claim though.

Maybe Beck has something on his site.

Yea, Beck tonite on O’Reilly’s show was saying this is nothing new that it has been planned since 2008.

I don't know the history of that statement though.

Van Jones certainly didn't disappear when he was outed as a radical Marxist after Obama hired him and Free Republic and other conservatives exposed him and was fired.

There's a bunch of people like him, FOO's (Friends Of Obama) lurking in the darkness doing their dirty work behind the scenes. Ayres and others.

I’m struggling to pay my damn bills, cover my health insurance ($20k/year) and yet some portion of my taxes still goes to pay these complaining beneficiaries?

They have been talking this up on Fox News all morning.

The connections of Obama with these rallies, etc.

The MoveOn organizers want everyone to wear red and blue, the colors of a sports team in WI.

Obama and the unions get their power from each other, that's why the unions need to be shook up as well as the drain on the economy they cause.

The unions spend 30 to 50 million every election cycle, most of it on democrats and stolen from millions of conservative union members to do so.

Blaze Exclusive: International Socialists Orchestrate Unions‘ Rally to ’Save the American Dream’

The Blaze ^ | February 25, 2011 | Meredith Jessup

Last fall, leftist ideological groups of socialists and communists teamed up with American labor unions to march together for "One Nation." Now, as labor leaders struggle to maintain a stranglehold on collective bargaining privileges in Wisconsin, the same groups are once again marching together under a banner claiming unions are the heart of the American dream. As we've reported, former White House green jobs czar Van Jones this week issued a rallying call for the progressive movement to "renew itself and become again a national force with which to be reckoned." On Saturday, progressive groups and labor unions are reportedly planning...

There might be the best hope for bringing down the unions. If there are enough conservative members to turn against them and refuse to pay dues, it might pull some of their teeth. Is that possible?

Well, I had jack for a turnout to my attempted counter in Dallas. I was there with my wife and 1 friend. Whoop.

Luckily, there were only about 50 or so in Dallas. I got some video and photos that I will put up later.

Here’s what the basic message was at this rally. Tell me if you’re surprised.

1) Workers are victims.

2) Abolish the Republican and Democrat parties.

3) Establish a Workers’ Labor Party. You know what THAT means.

4) Abandon Obama. Yes, I’m serious.

Our turn out was poor as well.
Perhaps 8 for the counter rally.

However, given that 300 showed up to counter rally Tuesday and that at least 100 that I know of were in Colorado Springs for a Leadership seminar (with the likes of Charles Krauthammer and some other big names) that they, some months back paid a lot of money to be a part of... I knew we would be light.

I just didn’t think we’d be as light as we were.

Two people drove the distance from Colorado Springs to Denver, one of them, Elliot Fladen, made the difference.

He literally schooled the lefties that surrounded him.
Eventually, 6 or 7 police officers had to form a line in front of him to buffer him from the lefties, because one man was becoming a tad aggressive.

Today was tame compared to Tuesday imo.
And the move on/seiu folk were no where near the number of 13,000 that they promised to bring.

Many thanks to you and yours for representing us citizens - don't care how many or how few of you were there, just so that you showed up.

"Protesters" have been busy. Several days ago somebody put up some kind of banner that draped down off an overpass that crossed over IH-35, just north of the Williamson county line. Didn't get a chance to get over and see what it said before some deputies took it down though.

The day is over, and from what I can tell from reports here on FR as well as in the media, their plans for big protests was a bust and didn't have any horsepower to them. They've got a dead horse and they're gonna keep beating it.
