Walker/Palin or Palin/Walker — the GOP Freedom ticket.

They were famous enough in the days of the Red (Communist) revolution. The minority (Menshevik) did not want Communism but they were outshouted by the majority (Bolshevik).

There is going to be another Red revolution, methinks, as in Redneck. The common folks are sick and tired of being punked by the unions.

He is the only other person besides Palin that I would vote for, that being said, I want Palin!

I have always hated unions. There is nothing American in character about them. Communists. Looters. Panhandlers.

Private unions served a good purpose in the “Wild West” days of employment relationships — days that are long gone and that will never revisit the USA as long as it remains a First World country. They are now only pawns for communists and it took only a hard economic pratfall to convince the average Joe that they are thoroughly unnecessary.

Dems Outraged by Republican Maneuver To Force Vote

Assembly Democrats are calling the Republican move to end debate and force a vote a blatant violation, and some are saying they may take the case to court.

The vote happened so quickly that many members on each side didn’t have time to push the button and register their vote. (See the roll call)

The Dems have gone to caucus to talk about their next step.

The crowd that has been occupying the Capitol each night, usually asleep at this time, is roaring as the Dems head to their caucus room.

I’m not so sure they were good, in the long run, even then. If you didn’t like mining coal for the company in W. Virginia you should have picked up and moved to CA, CO or OR. Same if you were a meat packer in Chicago or Omaha or wherever else and doing whatever else.

In today’s era of easy communication and easy travel, cross national competition means something in the marketplace. In the early 20th century, not so much. When unions sold themselves in spite of no legislation to prop them up, that has to say something about market equilibriums.

I’ve been reading/following the site. It’s very informative, but too short on detail to suit me. I want the blood and gore.

Courts won't get involved, because every branch makes up its own rules!

They got enough yeas to beat any opposition vote, right? 51 of them. The Pubs are also in charge of the chamber anyhow.

Quick! Somebody pull the fire alarm!

Yeah, that’s bad, and frankly, only hurts their cause in the public perception. Not sure if those folks care.

On what basis would it be knocked down? I think that’s just a lame excuse. I think they have pubs who are too cowardly to support it and it would fail. I think that’s just an excuse for cowardice. It would be legitimately offered. If it results in a reduction of costs, great. But that doesn’t have to be the stated purpose. How many bills with non-stated intended or unintended consequences resulting in higher costs have been passed? hundreds, if not thousands.

They’re cowards.

I wasn’t talking about marketplace competition. Just rugged individualism.

Maybe that could be, "one of these days those boots are gonna WALKER all over you..."
