Walker looks so modest, doesn’t he.

He ought to — the hand of God is on this.

If the bill passed is the one Krauthammer encouraged the WI GOP to pass, it *is* a bill limiting collective bargaining.

*fingers crossed*

It still has to pass the senate. They don’t have a quorum as long as the 14 are hiding out.

With the bill passing the Assembly, does that now mean that the collective bargaining component cannot be separated out as a separate, non-budgetary bill?

Since it’s non-budget, the Senate doesn’t need the quorum. The rats can stay skedaddled.

It's a budget bill and the senate needs a quorum.

You know the Rats got their ass handed to them by the way they are whining in defeat.

Though the announcement was pitched as a deal, state Democrats said Republicans were unilaterally bringing the debate to a close. One aide in Minority Leader Peter Barca's office said Republicans gave the Democrats two options: debate 38 additional amendments or end debate immediately. "We will strongly make our points, but understand you are limiting the voice of the public as you do this," said Democratic state Rep. Mark Pocan of Madison. "You can't dictate democracy. You are limiting the people's voice with this agreement this morning."

Nice work WI GOP.

When the last Dem speaker finished prattling on about how many nurses and firefighters and policemen (who won’t be affected by this bill) this was going to hurt, the Speaker called for the vote, said the ayes have it, the bill is passed. Took less than 20 seconds! I felt a tingle go up my leg! LOL
