Tiny quake.
3.6! A Mexican meal will produce a 4.8 in three hours!
Is the DOH okay?
Barry wants to know.
Anything to keep that birth certificate hidden...
I’m in Ewa Beach, slept through it.
My wife and I love Hawaii but we are Big Island people. :)
Oahu is way too crowded, we agree on that.
Apparently there was some sort of “earthquake” in Hawaii today.
In California I’m not sure anyone would notice . . . Much
Oahu is best I think. If you pick the right place to stay and go at the right time it is delightful.
There is so much to do — art and culural museums, the food, Pearl Harbor memorial, shows, plus hikes and beaches and water sports.
You can fly direct, so no need to get on another plane.
If all you want to do is sleep on the beach, then the other islands are nice.
But, I prefer Honolulu. We’ve stayed at a hotel on the south side of the Kapiolani Park. New Otoni — lowest priced beach front hotel. Quiet and close to everything.
I was just there last week. Went running in the park at sun rise to watch the sun rise over Diamond Head.
Now back in snowy Seattle.
I’m a Kona kind of guy.. wifey was born on Oahu, her Mom on the Big Island. That place is growing,, and I don’t mean volcanically. ;-)
What?
Oahu is NOT paradise.
Have you ever been to the other islands?
We don’t even set foot on Oahu anymore when we go to Hawaii.
Gah!
We are Kona people as well!
In fact, we fly directly into Kona.
We usually stay at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort but would like to try the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. It’s where we love to snorkel, Hapuna beach.
We’ve been all over the big island and love it!
Haven’t made it to Kauai yet but will for our next trip.
When I hear people say they went to Hawaii and then learn that they never left Oahu I just laugh. That’s not Hawaii!
We usually do 2 island visits and stay close to kailua. Oahu is OK for a couple days after you’ve been there a few times. haven’t been to maui for awhile or Kauai, wifey is taking a couple family members and friends to Oahu this summer. she still has a relative or two there. Me, I just go for the coffee on Kona, or the food at Zippy’s . ;-]
Islands shaken up...but no Obama Birth Certificate found
Kona coffee.....
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Ever eat at Ken’s in Hilo? Neat place!
