Wow, I’m stunned. Good to hear though. Rather have any US company get this than any foreign.

Great news for America! Giving the contract to EADS would have been a disaster, no matter what.

I almost would rather have Europeans building the planes than scummy union Obama voters who work in defense plants. I have known Repubs who were found out and pushed out of defense/aerospace jobs cause the line is ALL Democrat,

Good points. I still think it’s best to address the unions rather than toss the baby out with the bath water.

Good thing those foreigners in Alabama won't get to build Air Force tankers.

I thought that Boeing is going to build a plant in SC..am I wrong? In Charleston, for the 787.
To: Frantzie
Nonsense. I worked for Boeing for years. THere are a helluva lot or Machinists that are GOPers. Why wouldn’t they be? The mommy party keeps trying to slash the defense budget. And the engineers at Boeing, easily 3 to 1 republican.

I’d much rather that the Everett WA plant stay busy doing it. Plus, the profits won’t be going to Eurotrash.
