I really was depressed on the way home yesterday. I passed a gas station where gas had not gone up to the $3.29 it is everywhere here. It was still $3.08 and you should have seen the people lining up to get gas.
Is there ANY bad aspect of the Carter administration that O'Bummer doesn't wish to replicate??? (I realized "bad" was sort of redundant when describing Carter. ;) )

Up side for the House of Beancounter...
I will soon be looking for a 2008 Ford Expedition (extended version) Eddie Bauer Edition coming off a lease program. This serious gasoline spike should drive the price down enough so the savings (read opportunity cost) will more than pay for the increased cost of gas.
