Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's security detail is taking "every measure necessary" to ensure his safety, a state official told FoxNews.com, as protests over the governor's budget bill spread and some of the rhetoric being used gets overheated.
Officials in Madison would not go into detail about what precautions are being taken to protect the governor, though his Capitol conference room has been under heavy guard. In the week since 14 Senate Democrats fled Madison to block a vote on Walker's proposal to cut union benefits and rights, the tone of the debate has taken an inflammatory turn.
Though many of the protesters and counter-protesters have kept their slogans civil, some have been spotted carrying signs comparing Walker to Hitler. Others have compared him to ousted Egyptian autocrat Hosni Mubarak. One Democratic lawmaker, state Sen. Lena Taylor, has done both.
On Twitter, the rhetoric has gotten particularly graphic. A number of Twitter users, apparently unhappy with the budget plan, have publicly pleaded for somebody to kill Walker. "Someone please shoot him?!" one user Tweeted. "Crazy people wanted!!!! Please have sniper skills," another wrote, later adding: "Some one please take out the governor Scott Walker."

The time for talkin' is WAY beyond OVER!
I thought about protesting in favor of our Indiana Republicans but decided that it might not be in my best interest. Too many union thugs.
Turn off the vitriol!
Slave the whales!
“She said the standoff in Wisconsin is the result of a “serious problem the nation is facing with respect to the budget crisis,” but she added: “We have to think about what’s a desirable way to have a conversation about this.”
I don’t think this lady understands the concept of minority and majority.
If you are the majority you write the bills. If u are the minority, u try to become the majority so u can then write the bills.
If ya need a break, Diana, it’s sunny in California now, but might snow in San Francisco Saturday, so make it quick.
So they wanted out of the party that would not take a stand on the moral issue of the times. Interesting.
There is snow coming this way.
Document via video, take a fat lip, and then sue them and their union for all you can get. Just stay civil while it happens. One of those derelict robots will pop off, and if any part of their trip to the demonstration was paid by the fat cat unions, you have them by the short hairs. They were paid agents.
It’s also interesting how quickly civility is discarded when the liberal power structure is threatened.
Notice how they keep saying, Someone, someone...
Cowards that attempt to entice “someone” to relive them of what they perceive as a threat to their cozy little worlds.
Doesn’t matter if its a man’s life.
This IS the Left, disgusting, vile, selfish to the core.
These are those who would hoist themselves up to be saviors of mankind.

I had planned on telling that person “evil prospers when good men do nothing,” but I like YOUR post WAAAAY better ;-) I love how you think!
It is time to call out the Vigilantes
Thanks for the invite, but I’m dug in and my loins are girded for the battle ahead, LOL! :)
“I never have changed my party affiliation from ‘Free Soiler,’ so I’d like to do so today, before I vote.”
Do you think a poll worker (other than me) would get that joke? LOL! :)
The citizens and their Republican representatives have voted to create the weapons to make themselves free from the tyranny of state and oppressive taxation.
The King One has sent his union thug troops and Hessians to confiscate those weapons.
Wisconsin is the first battle of this war on the citizenry by public "servants".
May you prevail for all our sakes.
