Washington Post owned Slate.com used a crude misogynist wordplay to call Sarah Palin a c*** in a headline for an article published Tuesday about a supposed secret Sarah Palin Facebook account.
The headline reads: Sarah Palin Uses Alternate Facebook Accunt to Praise Sarah Palin
The article, posted in Slates Slatest section, is based on an article from Wonkette titled, Sarah Palin Has Secret Lou Sarah Facebook Account To Praise Other Sarah Palin Facebook Account, that in a rare show of class for Wonkette does not use the sexist slur in the article.
Two commmenters at Slatest criticized Slate for the slur with one writing, Ive let go of my reflexive typo pointing in the Slatest, but Facebook accunt? on a Sarah Palins tidbit, come on guys, at least get a basic spellcheck function.
Given Slates prominence as a respected part of the mainstream media with professional standards to uphold, an innocent typo of this magnitude with this subject is highly unlikely.(For the benefit of Media Matters senior blogger Eric Boehlert, try to imagine Slate accidentally doing the same to Michelle Obama or Nancy Pelosi. It wouldnt happen.)
During the 2008 presidential campaign, liberal activists paraded in public wearing t-shirts emblazoned in large lettering, Sarah Palin is a c*** with the c-word fully spelled out.
The Slate article itself does not bear a timestamp, but the comments begin at 5:18 p.m., meaning the article with the offensive headline has been up for nearly four hours as of this writing.
Earlier today, Palin denied having a secret Facebook account, writing on her official Facebook page On a side note, theres always buzz about fake Sarah Palin Facebook and Twitter accounts. Please know that this is my only authentic Facebook account and SarahPalinUSA is my only authentic Twitter account. Pay no attention to the fake accounts and their fake messages.
Slatist is owned by The Washington Post.
Right you are. I think Sarah should apologize immediately and kill herself, like Dan White. </s>
Ignore the Statist and the Slute that features it.
Better hope they never write a headline about Palin's britches or her cash hole.
Sarah Palin should start her own branded online k-12 school. It will send them over the edge. It really will.
Misspelling ping.
bttt
The reality of what Sarah Palin does to liberals, maggot infected gays posing as journalists/writers, lesbians, abortion queens, and of course the kind and gentle Rinos is shown below:
This is what happens when the newsies have a middle school mentality. The left is not known for their maturity.
I’m missing the slur, perhaps someone could explain what I am missing. I don’t see any reference to the word c—t or anything like that.
Did you read an “o” in the headline? Because there isn’t one.
I find her tastefully refreshing, and if her C^%$, or Beat^% side comes out on em I’d be more impressed, so far the folks representing us do not have the sack needed, so maybe a refined Cu&^ is just what we need..Ride em Sarah..
I have no idea what your meaning is... could you please act like you are explaining it to an idiot and just be clear and verbose about what I am not seeing. I am totally clueless as to what this is about
I love Sarah but there’s also Allen West who told CAIR to “put the mic down and go home”. LOL
And this with 5 days left in “No Palin “ Month!
Y expect nothing less from child molesters.
There is a screenshot of an article in Kristinns post. Where’s is the “o” in account? Not there. So, what does it say?
That's THE most hated word in the English language for ALL women. Even for those females where 'that word' could reasonably apply. Like your 3rd ex-wife, mothers-in-law from hell, and all liberal female 'comedians'.
And I definitely wouldn't use it for a woman who hunts Elk, Wolves and Moose - and prolly has enough rifles to arm Peru.
[It's a good thing for them that Sarah has CLASS and is not a crazy psycho vindictive LIBERAL.]
Beyond that, you're on your own.
Okay, now I see it, Jeez couldn’t someone just say look at the spelling of the word Account
