When I was a kid, I remember the Cleveland news stations reporting on organized crime leaders who were serving time in prison....handing out orders from behind bars. I didn't understand that stuff then, and I don't understand this now.

meh...

I guess the old “Mormon Mafia” people talked about in Howard Hughes’ day is still alive and well. Or at least that Jeffs subgroup’s version is.

In the past, when men were kicked out, their wives and children were reassigned to other men.
Please, O Defenders Of Polygamy. Defend this. I dare you.

What is wrong with these people?

They need to abandon their dated philosophy and move into the modern age.

Why can’t they just practice homosexual sodomy, have lesbian relationships and enter into same sex marriages like good, progressive Americans?

And their old fashioned notions of having extended families!

Can’t the women just lay around having multiple babies by annonymous sperm donors while the men wander around impregnating them, one after another?

Or they could practice female circumcision like good muslims.

I think it is a great idea. Let the women bitch at each other so they are all bitched out by the time it is their turn to be with the guy.

From the article: Jeffs is held in Texas, charged with bigamy and sexual assault of underage girls, but 2News has been told he has access to a phone.

What is the source for 2News information? In Big Lake Warren Steed Jeffs would have very limited access to a phone with only the card he purchased, and the calls would be monitored. Could it be a rouge attorney or two from his homeland may have decided to take a walk on the wild side and smuggle a tape out? Or was it recorded before he left Utah?

In the past, when men were kicked out, their wives and children were reassigned to other men. Whether that has happened this time is not known, but 2News has been told nearly all of the women and children remain in the polygamous communities.

That's a very interesting statement. Again, what is the source of their information?

During the rescue, children were found on the YFZ to be there with no parents present. At least one of them a Canadian citizen.

They are building a huge building at YFZ next to Warren Steed Jeff's house. It is the size of a motel 6. It certainly would be a convenient place to park the children of these 'unworthy' men. Also it might provide a big incentive for them to keep their mouths shut.
