It surprises me to hear that someone is helping Michelle Obama choose what to wear. Perhaps the solution is simple: replace Meredith Koop with a competent fashion consultant.

Michelle should certainly lose weight, especially if she is going to be our national dietary advisor/scold, but she is basically not a bad looking woman. Her relentlessly inappropriate clothes are the problem.

She reminds me of the old “Far Side” cartoon where the fat woman has a Chihuahua stuck in her crack as she nails up a reward notice for a missing dog.
