It seems to be Standard Procedure for police to kill the family dog whenever they make a house call. Golden retriever, Labradors, you name it, they'll shoot it.Don't forget that Maryland Cop who shot that funky looking poodle last year.

My girlfriend has a dog like that. I'd shoot the barking little pest in a minute if I thought I could get away with it.
