The first family returned on Sunday night from a covert ski weekend near Camp David. On Saturday morning, Michelle Obama, Sasha and Malia hit the slopes of Ski Liberty in Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania.
They arrived at 9:15 am and the girls spent the morning with instructors. After lunch they skiied on their own and then went snow tubing.

I agree that the fact she departed isn’t news, but the following is:

Largely paying??? Taxpayers have the right to know how much this cost them.
With that amount of money they could buy United air line.
And still, the Obamas behave like entitled royalty while the rest of the country struggles with high food and gas prices. No, I’m not recommending that government freeze prices. I am recommending that the Obamas stop spending our money like it’s going out of style.
Right, but who paid for the flight? Meals? Lodging? "Personal expenses" sounds like gifts and other incidentals.

Yeah I agree. I don’t have time to keep up with the social calander of Mooshell. Compared to what else is going on it is chump change. It is also out in the open so anyone can make their own conclusions.
Meanwhile, (.)bama back in DC running things without the brains in the family telling him what to do really scares the hell out of me. Those 3 am calls must be getting on his nerve by now. And with Mooshell out of town, he probably is up to 3 packs a day breaking his habit.
