People don’t realize how bad things may be getting very soon. Broke is broke. Detroit, the state and many other states and the US Govt are broke.
90% of American have no clue or are in denial along with probably the majority of people (+50%) posting here.

Well, I was being halfway snarky and halfway literal.
When people see or hear of 60 kids on a classroom in Detroit, their heads will explode.
Now....whether they will be able to make the connection between liberals >> broke >> 60 kids per class, that remains to be seen. There may be an excess neuron demand in that connection.
It’s more likely they will think 60 kids per class >> broke >> need more money >> raise taxes on the rich.
But we can hope. WI could be quite the belwhether situation. I am very impressed with the governor and I think he will stick to his guns. [oops, I can’t say that any more]
I have to agree with you Frantizie, there is a huge denial gap on. It is actually quite normal for it to exist.
What happens when the oil is cut off? What happens when the IMF dumps the dollar? What happens when hyper-inflation hits?
There is no turning this around right now, the time for stopping or even slowing this is long since gone. We are to the beginning of the ...going through the collapse...
...but what is truly different in America is we have forces strongly at work to divide Americans, instead of uniting them to come out the other side a better and stronger nation. If this had happened and in some ways it did happen on 9/11, we could pull through. Ten years and the likes of elected progressives/communists in office have removed and contaminated the Spirit of America.
