Police arrested city Councilwoman Mary Sadrakula on an aggravated assault charge Sunday night after she allegedly fought with a female relative over her weight, breaking the family member’s nose and fracturing her tailbone, police said.
Police were dispatched to the councilwoman’s Dwasline Road home after receiving a 911 call with yelling in the background just before 11:30 p.m. Officers Nigel Gough and Keith Gormley found the relative with scratches on her face and a swollen left cheek, Detective Capt. Robert Rowan said.
The family member, who lives with the councilwoman, told officers that Sadrakula “kicked her ass,” Rowan said.
The victim told the officers, “She was upset with me because I’m thin.”
Sadrakula, 55, allegedly hit the relative, kicked her in the buttocks and pushed her down, Rowan said...

What a waste of money. They're trying to make a criminal case out of a broken nose and a sore tailbone because of a family dispute?
It's better left as a civil case, for Judge Judy or something. When it's family members like this, it's really too hard to tell whether the "victim" deserved it or not.
