Oscar-winning Faye Dunaway was nicknamed "The Bitch" by flight attendants on one airline, where a longtime stewardess tells us the Hollywood legend's in-flight tantrums were so notorious that she was denied upgrades.
Before she boarded one early-'90s flight to London's Heathrow, the stewardess claims that airline management contacted flight attendants and ground staff and told them that under no circumstances should they upgrade Dunaway.

It is amazing how these people who only read the words other people write for them actually believe that somehow they are “special”.
Oh, I’m sure there’s plenty of nasty Hollywood bitches. But she was damn good in Network- where, judging by this article, she apparently just played herself. Amazingly, William Holden was only 58 in that movie.
Make her clean the airplane bathroom floor!
My Father grew up in the same town she was born in, Bascom Florida. It is little more than a place in the road in the Florida Panhandle.
I saw an article in the local paper maybe 10 years ago. She had come back to Bascom to see the old house. The people at the store where she stopped to ask directions said she was pretty nice.
I’m so happy the airline decided to teach her a lesson. /s/

I remember the movie, “Mommy Dearest”. Funny thing, my brother and I were teens at the time and when our mom got pissed off, we were smart asses and referred to her as “mommy dearest” !
I would have liked to been the fly on the wall when the decision was made by the airline management to keep her from upgrading ! BTW, she would have had to really piss someone off in management to get that treatment !

My soon to be ex-daughter in law used to work the ticket counter of a well-known airline. It was interesting hearing her talk about celebrities and how some of them expected “special” service. One who is perceived as “sweet” on her TV appearances wanted one of her assistants to answer the standard questions we are all asked when we purchase airline tickets. She was forced to answer those questions herself and show her identification.
She was so used to buying coach and getting uprgraded to 1st class ....call a wam-bulance beyatch.
I wonder how Oprah behaves.
Oh wait, she has her own private jets...
