On top of this, D.C. will also be required to pay two years in back wages, costing the city approximately $7.5 million. I like the way they say that. Like the City has it’s own money.
It is this kind of weakness in the DC Schools that will un-do all that Rhee did. THIS is why DC can never be a state. They are mentally and morally weak. The way to fighty a union is to say NO and stick to it.

Would D.C. like the Congress to overrule this arbitrator’s ruling so that D.C. would not be forced to rehire these teachers? Oh wait, that’s right, D.C. doesn’t like when the Congress gets involved in D.C.’s affairs. Never mind then. D.C., you’re on your own, just like you want.
