Wisconsin's Real Doctors and Their Fake Sick Notes for Protesters

**SNIP**
But last week some of these weary warriors carried their patient advocacy too far. In videos breathlessly presented throughout the conservative mediasphere this weekend [scroll down to see], doctor after doctor is videotaped writing patently fraudulent sick notes so that the protesting teachers (whose contracts specify that missing work without an excuse can result in dismissal) can keep marching on against the state's union-busting Republican government.
After viewing the videos at my request last night, Dr. Arthur Derse called me up exclaiming, "Holy mackerel! It's much worse than it looked in the paper. I'm stunned, absolutely stunned." Dr. Derse is the Director of Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities a the Medical College of Wisconsin. "When all's said and done, it's really the profession of medicine that has the black eye in this case," he says.
There is no question these doctors are masking political opinion in the white coat of the medical profession, Dr. Derse believes. "The videos are pretty damning."
It's sad, but what puzzles me most is how in the world three of the four physicians I can identify from these videos and other media reports are faculty members of UW's Family Medicine department, and one is a senior resident in that same department. It's a good training program, committed to providing sorely-needed primary care doctors to the state of Wisconsin. It teaches professionalism, and its faculty are supposed to model integrity. What were they thinking?

A few videos @ the link.
If they’re forging documents then pull their licenses.
once again, when the Government takes something over, all decisions become POLITICAL. I learned that to the extreme when I lived in communist countries.
Expect this to be normal if Obamacare happens.
I wonder what sort of criteria they'll use when they pass their findings on to the (don't call them Death Panels) Panels.
At the very least...the state medical board will get complaints which will require them to investigate. I doubt if they can dish out any punishment, but you start to attract unneeded attention to the hospital that you are associated with. The fact that you did these excuses without an exam, and thus no money going to the hospital or clinic....then you’ve broken some simple business practices.
This all leads me back to the cost of healthcare today. Obviously, these guys are willing to do things for free...so why does a family of four pay into some health policy for $8000 a year? Seems like the very same doctors doing these excuse letters for free....could do alot of things for a discount price and we’d find a way for everyone in America to have free health care. Or am I missing something with Doctor Joe standing in Madison and signing letters for free?
What would really be funny is if these “doctors” are really The Breitbart Players filming yet another sting.
I would think that someone willing to write a fake sick note, wouldn’t have a whole lot more trouble writing a prescription that shouldn’t be written. And how do we know these doctors aren’t writing sick notes for teachers all the time? Oh, Doc I want to go on a mini-vacation but, want to save my vacation time for later. Could you write me a sick note. The price, taxpayer paid doctors visit, would be the pay off. What they are doing right now is stealing from taxpayers. To me that shows they have no scruples, they’d be willing to do just about anything, if the price is right.
I believe this is called a conspiracy to defraud. This right now is a state matter so not sure of exactly how the federal statute would come into play except some of the salary is paid by federal funds.
Regardless: Federally, anyone who enters into a conspiracy to defeat a law or regulation is guilty of violation of this statute. The object does NOT have to be a violation of another law, any regulation sufficies. Prosecute and take away their licenses. Anyone who would do this is a potential Medicare and Medicaid fraud perpetrator in the making so stop it at its source.
And if there’s an identifiable picture of a teacher who is protesting while ‘sick’ instead of being at their post in school, dismiss them.
AMA doctors
The doctors have the same disease - liberalism- as the protestors; they can’t help themselves.
Why do people allow themselves to be taped committing these acts of giving fake dr notes? Both Dr and “patient” can be punished. It shows utter contempt for the People.
Per the AMAs own website...
Code of Medical Ethics Opinion 9.132 - Health Care Fraud and Abuse
2) Physicians should make no intentional misrepresentations to increase the level of payment they receive or to secure non-covered health benefits for their patients. (II)
My God, what a reality these liberals inhabit. The doctors are L E F T I S T S. That's what they were thinking
Contact Mr. Ryan to request investigation of these doctors.

Are we witnessing disciples of Dr. Mengele? Are these, obviously, unethical physicians going to be carrying out orders for Obama, Pelosi, and Reid’s Death Panels? It appears that these physicians have been corrupted by Big Brother and will decide if the government allows you to live or die via rationed care!
Other excuses that have been used in the past:
My dog ate my homework
I was abducted by a UFO
I didn’t know the gun was loaded
