Their bombing people as well...reports residential areas being bombed. Gaddafi’s getting plenty of help from other surrounding nations in this onslaught....
Who’s going to listen to Mr. Secretary?
Any other source(s) on this?

I would call BS on that...
... but what do I know?
ITS THE OIL. They want to secure the oil.
I see your point, here is another one:
AhmdMwsly #US and #Israeli airplane is firing missiles on cars in #lybia by the hands of #Gaddafi the murderor
Venezuela would not be my first resort if I were a dictator on the lam.
Gaddafi is yet another naked emperor (they all are) who is being given the heave ho because he is elderly, no longer virile, and an embarrassment therefore.
The Libyans are not especially interested in liberty, else they’d have yanked this molar 40 years ago.
Next up, Castro or the Saudi king.
Nevertheless, this recent restlessness could give Venezuelan people ideas.
Gaddafi would do well to check into a posh sanitarium in the Caribbean.
I have no confirmation of that- but somewhere upthread there’s a tweet about some Italian jets in Libya doing something...hard to keep up.
Meanwhile our narcissist in the WH is planning a day of comfort, trying to make certain America is enslaved with taxes, and all our allies hate us; sweeeeet.

LIBYA: Two top Libyan envoys have resigned from their posts in solidarity with pro-democracy demonstrations against the countrys ruler Muammar Gaddafis authoritarian regime. Libyan envoy to the Arab League Abdel Moneim al-Honi and the countrys ambassador to China resigned Sunday to join the protests.
I have submitted my resignation in protest against the acts of repression and violence against demonstrators and I am joining the ranks of the revolution, al-Honi said.
Libyan envoy to China has also said that he was not honored to represent a regime that kills its people.
He has also called on the army to intervene to stop the killing of innocent people.
An Opposition leader has said that all tribes across the country have joined the anti-Government protests, according to reports.
In a bid to pressure the Government, the leader of the Al-Zuwayya tribe in eastern Libya, Shaikh Faraj al Zuway, has threatened to stop oil exports in response to the oppression of protesters, and has asked Gaddafi to leave the country. Members of an army unit known as the Thunderbolt have reportedly joined the popular revolt against Gaddafis rule. At least 50 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the Libyan city of Benghazi Sunday afternoon, raising the total death toll in the eastern city over the past days to 250.
Despite the harsh clampdown on people since the beginning of unrest in the country, protests have spread to the capital city of Tripoli, bringing Gaddafis overthrow closer to realization.
You just have to wonder what rock this guy has been living under for the last 40 years.
I'm guessing he finally came out against "a regime that kills its people" because he doesn't want to be strung up next time he's in Tripoli.

Commentator says that many in the army are joining the protesters and this NOT a civil war.
Up to 7 Libyan dipolomats have resigned from their posts in protest [of the government shooting citizens?].
Another commentator says Qaddafi has no support remaining in the country, except for a small core in Tripoli.
"We have just heard that the military ships are bombing an area in Tripoli and many people have been killed although we don't know how many at the moment because people have just called to tell us it is happening."
Gnan said the navy appeared to be bombing a residential area outside the city centre as part of a desperate crackdown by Gaddafi's troops.
"He is even turning the ships on his people now. His plan is to use absolutely everything he can to stop what is happening."
dipolomats=diplomats
He’s planning a solidarity speech for his brethren in Wisconsin. Probably not that far off from the truth huh?
Heads up people!.....Obamas playing war now at the Suez with Iran....
“The Iranian warships found themselves cheek to jowl with a major concentration of America naval might piling up in the Red Sea and Suez and were not sure what would happen if they went forward with their mission to transit the Suez Canal for the Mediterranean for the first time in 30 years on their way to Syria”
Next planned move by Irans ships now Tues. night.
seems five of our ships have them boxed in according to debka...but then could be rumor knowing them...intersting and will tryy to find out more.
