I too am not a lobster fan. I mean I don’t hate them. A well cooked lobster served with pure melted butter is quite Ok and certainly not anything to be puked upon

However, I don’t get the huge fuss about it. It is not like a nice cut of beef, or a cornish hen or a berkshire pork or a nice Aussie lamb chop or even a nice steak of tuna.

It is just OK. Quite unlike the hype it generates.

And black-tip shark is good eating, too.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Chaqu’un a son gout!
I love Lobster. It is,to me,the most perfect delicious food. So versatile, hot , cold, stuffed, salad, stew, We all have our own personal and
regional preferences.
We of New England ancestry love our Lobster.
I’m happy to learn the the crop was so bountiful. That means lower prices, and more people can enjoy what used to be considered a rare, expensive delicacy.

I think the fuss is purely historical and dates to before refrigeration when fresh fish was unavailable. Having lived on the ocean and catching both fish and lobster from my boat I’d eat the fish and give away the lobsters.

Same day fish beats a bug everytime.
