Neither Gov. Christie (R-N.J.) nor Rep. Bachmann (R-Minn.) meet the criteria to be among the 9 front-runners on our 2012 Presidential Hopefuls' Immigration Stances grid. But tens of thousands of readers of NumbersUSA.com asked that we rate these two.

Bachmann’s B- minus would stack up pretty high compared to nearly everyone else being legitimately talked about.

Numbers USA is the definitive last word, I’m convinced.

Bachmann is another one of my choices with Sarah Palin coming first..I think Michelle Bachkman can do more good where she is at..We need strong people like her to make the decisions and those decisions are coming from the Senate and Congress..Right now we have Congress and come 2012 we will have Senate..If we could get more women in places of importance we can get this country back in Gods hands and not Obama and Harry Reid..

Saying that I do love men but women have so much more experience with the finances then men.. :)

But wait, you must be wrong because Ann Coulter says he is the man, the one, anoited by non other then herself.

But of course she sold out on the birth issue months ago and called all of us names rather then address the issue.

LOL. In a matchup between a guy who’s not running and a gal with as much chance of being president as Carol Mosely Braun...

Christie is doing a great job in NJ; if you don’t live or do business here then you don’t get it. I don’t see him even wanting to run for prez, though he is welcome here for as long as he wants the job. He is trying to accomplish at the state level what the Fed gov’t. needs to be doing on a national level.

Wait a second. They say Christie hasn’t said *anything* on the issue, so gets an ‘F’? That’s not right, because it lumps him together with those in favor of unrestricted immigration. Properly he should get a ‘zero’, or even better a ‘n/a’, at least until he has his say.

He has other issues on his plate right now, for which he gets some mixed reviews. But those things are more important to him, and his State, than does illegal immigration.

So since they don’t know what his stance is, their best bet would probably be to ask him. Until then, benefit of the doubt—don’t make enemies you don’t have to make.

GOV. CHRISTIE shows up quite poorly because he has pretty much ignored immigration issues. That shouldn't be too surprising, given that all of his experience has been in state politics and that he has not shown any interest in running for President this time around. But if you Christie supporters want the rest of us to take him seriously as a potential candidate, you are going to have to get him to treat immigration as an issue important enough to speak about

So Christie doesn't say anything so he gets a "F". What a load. This is so typical of single issue advocacy groups. Like a bunch of babies crying for attention. "Pay attention to me or I'll give you an "F" In my rating system." And I say this as a strong supporter of border control and shipping illegals out of the country. I just hate the way these groups--not just immigration, any advocacy grou--operate.

exactly...

they think they are so important that Christie will read this and panic....

He will be so heart broken by their grad that suddenly, Christie will move heaven and earth to please them....

Even if that does not happen, it is a stark warning to all those other “hopefuls” that they too can get a baaaaaaaaad grade.

I understand that some of us have an issue that is most important to us, above the others....I understand working hard to keep that issue in the limelight. But when the people working on that issue use these tactics, it demeans them in my eyes.....

If I were running for office, I would look to work with adults on the issues....not these folks...

excerpt: “No. 1 — 20.2% of you voted to rate Gov. Christie of New Jersey
No. 2 — 17.8% of you voted to rate U.S. Rep. Bachmann of Minnesota

(The others were Gov. Jindal (13.0%), Ambassador Bolton (11.8%), Gov. Perry (11.3%), Sen. Santorum (8.4%), Businessman Cain (7.2%), Gov. Daniels (5.2%), Gov. Huntsman (3.2%) and Gov. Pataki (2.0%).) “

So who chose the list?
Gov. Huntsman?
Dov. Pataki?

Where's Palin?
Where's Trump - who will run
ETc.

How worthless this is. Not to mention that we have time yet for other entrants.

Now then, that said - Wait a few months ans take a poll of this ticket:

WEST/Palin

Lt. Col. West - excerpt from CPAC (Only a tiny peek at this man.

Do yourself a favor - put Allen West in theYouTube search - and watch the clips - Your will FEEL GOOD AND HOPEFUL. Lt. Col West has America's (OUR) back! He will not be intimidated. He will not back down. (He has proved that! He has already sacrificed and fought to prove that.) He knows the Constitution backward s and forwards.
He knows who our enemy is - both ‘foreign and domestic” - He know the Biblical precepts upon which our country is founded.

He is an AMERICAN, all caps! A rare breed in Washington these days. “But but, he doesn't have the experience”.

To those who spout this old mantra, I say: "First off, he has many years of leadership experience. Above & beyond that - “He has the heart that our Founding Fathers had. (What ‘experience for running a free country did THEY have? They had the HEART, firm footing in Judeo/Christian principles, love of freedom) - We need these caliber men/women to clean the cobwebs out of DC and renew the foundations of our country.

Um Palin was rated, she got a D-, the worst score of all the GOP ‘presidental hopefuls’. And ALL of those hopefuls scored worse than Michele who rated a solid B-.

Cue the Saraphiles to blindly defend their gal again, when the best true conservative is staring them in the face.

I once felt the same way. However, after the contortions they pulled during 2008 election, I ignore them for the most part. The same goes for the National [alleged] Right to Life organization.
