This is also an underlying problem with a very large percentage of public/government workers whose exposure to the private sector is minimal or non-existent. And we’re witnessing this limited perspective right now in Wisconsin as public union employees have virtually no appreciation of the concept of a limited budget.

I can't make an educated statement on Rassmussen's accuracy, but for as long as I have been paying attention, the week to week fickleness of the average dumb a$$ citizen is off the chart. What can one expect from people that change their vote to a candidate because his dog got hit by a car? The massiveness of the "sympathy vote" phenomenon demonstrates my point.

Not exactly. Click on the link...at the bottom of the first paragraph click on "see trends" and start scrolling. For a total of 9 days in February, March and December of 2010 he registered a whopping 22% in the strongly approve category. Remember what was happening in those months?

With the exception of 4 days in September and 1 day in August 2009, the pos has not been above 33% since 7-7-09. With less than 6 months in office he has failed to curry the strong approval of at least a third of the nation. That is what is referred to as EPIC FAIL!

Actually, Obama is for all practical and pragmatic purposes a failed and lame duck POTUS. He has provided absolutely no leadership to his Democrat Party, wasted his first two years on a health care bill that is unconstitutional or failed at the start, has done nothing to creat meaningful, sustainable new job growth, is ignored and laughed at by the rest of the world, has diminished the image and reality of the USA as a world leading nation and has put our nation into bankruptcy!!! Fact is: Obama is toast, an empty suit, anti-American, etc. and....any liberal or Democrat that hangs with him will go down to defeat in November of 2012. End of stories.

I think the weekend poll response causes the adjustment to the trend, but basically Rasmussen has been the standard for nearest accuracy, at least in the big elections, so much that the others have picked up on their method.

Translation: The others actually poll Republicans now! :)

I was at a birthday party yesterday for my daughter and was talking to a couple of other moms. They had both voted for Obama and BOTH were regretting voting for the guy. I took the opportunity to introduce them to the concept of Natural Born Citizenship. They were like... “What?” Yes, two parents who are citizens, and born on the soil of the nation. His dad was British, I could not believe the guy got past the primaries. Don’t wonder why unconstitutional legislation has been shoved down our throats, they thought they COULD because they got an unconstitutional president into power.

It was simply LOVELY to see the light bulbs pop up over their heads. I am still savoring it.

Yep, so far everyone other than a brain dead liberal I know of has expressed regret for voting for him.
