As more people have the opportunity to witness these “rallies”, they will begin to wonder where those folks get the time to do this. As more people come to understand that they (the taxpayers) are often footing the bill for these rallies, or that Obama’s campaign dollars are helping to support the work of these rabble rousers, they will become hardened against these union demonstrations.

I don’t think that tea parties should try to counter these rallies with in-person demonstrations. Coordinating phone calls or email campaigns to the targeted politicians would be a more efficient use of their resources. This isn’t the 60’s. And it lessens the opportunity for violent clashes (which some believe is the ultimate goal of these paid agitators.)

I believe there has to be some kind of direct confrontation with these featherbedding candy takers. Otherwise the masses of the country will be led by the media to think all the protesters are all the Nation. It doesn’t have to be violent if state police forces do their sworn duty. But with the police and fireman blindsighted by a communist social agenda, who knows.

This isn’t the 60’s.

Normally, I would agree with your recommendations. However, based on having watched "them" during the 60's, I will tell you they are much better positioned for "this" now than they were in the 60's.

Consider for a moment the wide range of threats that could be brought to bear tomorrow on the streets of America, don't even bother to include threats that could come from elsewhere in the world. Add in the immediate disruption to our economy together with the unavailability of things we need for our everyday lives, and one has the outline for a disturbing novel.
