First time since Reconstruction.
Republicans now control all three branches of government. Louisiana State House flipped to GOP control last month.

All the Democrats have left in the South is both branches of the Arkansas Legislature, the State Senate in Virginia, and the State House in Kentucky and Mississippi.

Democrats also have the Mississippi State House, but their advantage there is shrinking to just 9 seats now.

Granger ran some pretty slimey radio ads; glad Perry won. I’d like to think senate control was the last really bid stumbling block Jindal faced in fully implementing his agenda. We’ll see now.

The MS House will go GOP in November. The VA Senate should also flip to the GOP.

I guess after Obama and SEIU are finished beating up on Wisconsin, they’ll next head to Louisiana for some “demonstrations”...
