~ EXCERPT ~
(Reuters) - Two Iranian naval ships will sail through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean on Monday, a Suez Canal official said, in what will be the first passage of Iranian naval ships through the canal since 1979.
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has described Iran's plan to send the ships through the canal en route to Syria as a "provocation."
The official said the vessels would arrive at the southern mouth of the canal in the Red Sea's Gulf of Suez on Sunday. They would enter the canal in the northern convoy on Monday morning and complete the journey to the Mediterranean by evening.
An Egyptian army source said on Friday that the military, which has been running Egypt since President Hosni Mubarak was toppled from power on February 11, had approved Iran's request to send the ships through the canal.

Then again maybe the Iranian ships will be attacked by Somali pirates. Which team to support??? Oh, dear, life is full of difficult choices!!!

“I would recommend just having a couple missiles board, just for a few seconds.”
Hmmmmm. I was thinking perhaps a SEAL Team equipped with re-breathers could place timed explosive charges on the hulls of the ships as they pass slowly through the Suez.
The explosives detonate several hours after the ships depart the Suez and sink.......I'm just sayin’.

Until January 2013. Then that changes, assuming we don't have another corpse running against Obama. They know they need to act before then if they want to take out Israel without American military interference.
I agree, all these revolutions have 2 years. If Israel is hammered before our election in 2012 though, Jews here in the U.S. will perhaps have a change of heart and vote on the "hawk" side. If we get enough groundswell against the course of "demise" that the U.S. is on, the "hawk" candidates will mostly win 2012 and we can finally get it on with the caliphate and then utterly destroy it. It is only through pain that the populations of that part of the world will learn the error of their ways and open their minds to not being a vile killing machine.
After WWII, Germany learned very quickly, but they were a God-fearing nation to begin with, intelligent and industrious. On the other hand, Japan did not have a Christian history and they are now one of our best allies. However, the nation of Japan as a whole has a much more industrious history than the mideast and their culture was not that of desert survival and highway robbery, but of a hierarchical societal structure where at least respect and honor were significant along with militarism and feudalism. The mid east countries must have anti-Jewish hatred taken out of their hearts and minds completely, or they will cause terror anywhere they are in the world. What is needed is a de-islamification analogous to de-Nazification but on an enormous scale over decades if not longer.
Even if the state of Israel is overrun and replaced with an islamic state, muslims will still hate Jews anywhere they are in the world. Muslims would immediately shift gears to make the U.S. the sole object of their hatred, continue their stealth invasion via immigration, and continue to hate, persecute and kill Jews and Christians anywhere they are in the world. The stalin and nazi regimes were also rooted in hatred and paranoia which was brought to a much lower level after the regimes ended but persist to this day. The nazis exported anti-semitism to muslim lands as a tactic of war the same way Germany in WWI allowed Lenin to pass through to Russia in a successful tactic to aid the Bolshevik revolution in taking Russia out of the fight.
Jews, Christians, atheists - all non-muslims and non-communists - are well-served to understand that muslims and the far left wing, in an evil marriage of convenience, both seek to utterly destroy them. The left wing covets our raw materials, food supply and labor. They simply want what we've got and to have us work for them; they believe the fruits of our labor should all go to supporting all communist regimes around the world as a matter of a warped idea of fairness. The muslims simply hate us; they are, in a word, crazy. However, a review of some basic economic information about middle eastern nations, such as here:
http://www.eia.gov/cabs
reveals that those governments have great difficulty providing food, electricity and gasoline for their own people. That's the difference I see between the "caliphate" and 1930's Germany. The "caliphate" can't rule itself; it would find it impossible to rule any other nations without mass starvation. Simply put, in the long run, the know-nothings of the world can't rule the smart people of the world. However, the caliphate certainly could precipitate a large war with hundreds of millions dead, and they certainly could wind up doing away with our Constitution and government by immigrating here and getting elected to office, which we sappily permit. The sooner we understand that if we continue to not join the battle we most certainly will lose and be subjugated or dead, the better.

You’re right, that is a far better arrangement, appearing as an accidental explosion and probably about the same cost, a few million I would think. The missiles would cost quite a bit, however for the SEALS, the operation does rack up some costs. But the team has such a nice low geo-political profile.

If Israel does nothing, it could lead to war. If the ships are sunk, we will be at war. Not many good options there.
