Rahm would know. OF COURSE THE FACT THAT THE VOTERS WANT HIM TO DO THIS HAS never entered Rahms mind?

"I think what the governor there is doing is not just fiscal, but a political agenda. That's not what we are about.

Oh man, you've gotta be kidding! Rahm "never let a crisis go to waste" Emanuel said this and was able to keep a straight face?

“I totally reject the notion that it would happen here,”

Bondholders and taxpayers will soon disagree

"I think what the governor there is doing is not just fiscal, but a political agenda. That's not what we are about.
"...I would totally reject the approach the governor of Wisconsin has taken," Emanuel said.

Think about it!!!Emanuel is simply reflecting the views of the man he served for two years.

Gov. Walker was elected by "the People" of Wisconsin to serve them and their best interest as citizens and as taxpayers. As their representative and State Chief Executive, he heard them and is doing just that, which is a "political" thing to do.

Emanuel, on the other hand, is accustomed to working for the Executive of the national government who failed to listen to "the People" about his Far Left agenda for America, was tone deaf for two years and, even after a November election which lost the House for him and several governorships, continues to be agenda driven, not attuned to the wishes of "We, the People," whose Constitution he swore to uphold.

Don't see any inconsistency in Emanuel's position here. Missing something????

Rahm should shut his ferry lips and stay in that cesspool of Chicago politics and judges.

“I’m just sittin’ back and grinning from ear to ear over all of this!

This is BRILLIANT strategy. Get this really HARD, controversial stuff out of the way (like, within 6 weeks of taking office? Hello?) and the rest of it will roll like water off a duck!

I’m really impressed with this man; and I’m not easily impressed! :)”

Roger that! USN ret. sends..

“Chicago Mayor Richard Daley said while the state is indeed in desperate need of revenue, fellow Democrats should have made budget cuts before passing the tax increase.

“Some way, they really believe that the taxpayers of Illinois have a lot of money in their pockets, and they’re gonna spend it,”... Mayor Daley

Take care of the poor

1. we have the RICHEST "poor" people in the world

2. it's the FAMILY's job to take care of their OWN temporarily down on their luck NOT the gov't's job to continually house, feed and clothe an entire lazy segment of the population for over 50 years now.
