In the picture I see 3 “white coats” — but what does the one facing the amera have around her eyes? Is that something worn in cold country or deliberate blocking out in photo?

Just looks, to me, like an earband. Keeps you ears warm without makin’ your head to hat. Sorta like earmuffs, but not so geeky lookin’!
