Depends,
Was the first stroke caused by an aneurysm? Thrombus?
I don’t have primary data to guess. But I can pray!
My impression was an anyeurism.
No sweat. Much appreciate your prayers and caring.
If I get more details, I’ll pass them along.
imho, Given all the givens, and his macular degeneration—that region was the preferred region, if one had to experience such at all. PRAISE GOD FOR THAT.
As you know, any lower and he’d have had great problems with motor functioning. The parietal lobe could have been problematic, too. I don’t think he’d have handled one there very well at all. Body positioning, sensory stuff gone would have been pretty horrible to him and made him even worse a patient.
Being a Navy corpsman, he’s a horrid patient. Questions everything. Demanding and resistent. The hospital hates to see him coming at all. Tried to send him home for the weekend even though they expected another stroke. Sheesh.
THANKS TONS FOR YOUR KIND REPLY, CARING AND PRAYERS.
It may have been a thrombus instead of an aneurysm. They were talking about clotting etc. but I dont’ recall the specifics.
