Is a taxpayer funded million dollar bonus too much? for a banker that loses billions of dollars and cost the taxpayers trillions of dollars.
How many Freepers agree with this? I'd wager none.
And yet, you continue to compare taxpayer funded jobs with those in private industry. And no, I don't consider those bankers who get public bail-outs private industry. They are also public employees at this point.
But I'm not playing your game of divert and distort.
Public school teachers are paid too damn much. Where I live, their salaries and benefits are literally ruining the township. We are broke. We can't pay higher property taxes. And yet, they keep coming back year after year demanding more and more money.
What part of "We're tapped out" don't these cretins understand? The gravy train is off the rails.
The running joke around here is that soon, the only ones who will be able to afford to live in our town are public school teachers.
