1. Jews that did return to their homes generally found them occupied by non-Jewish Germans, French, or whomever, and were killed.
2. The land they went to live on had been purchased over the last 100 years by Jews or Zionist groupes, from willing sellers, largely absentee landowners.
She just needs to relent and give up the ghost.
