Have you dried tomatoes? I’d like to find better tips on that.
Yeah...I usually dry the last tomatoes I pick before the first frost. I slice them in half and put them on a french bread loaf pan (it’s perforated) and set that on top of the heater (oil electric) that I use in my sunroom. I suppose I could use the oven to dry bigger batches but I have this thing about running unvented gas appliances overnight. :)
My usual method of tomato preservation is canning.
