I grow Yukon Gold that are naturally notorious for rotting faster than others. But, I just love fresh green beans, ham and potatoes! You cannot beat new potatoes!
We used to grow large crops of Kenebec potatoes. But I like Russert now. But They all don’t keep like they used to.

As to the cause of the potatoes going bad, I’m at a loss...

I’m so envious right now. Here in Northern Utah we still have several inches of snow on the ground and I’ll not be able to plant for at least 10 weeks :( I’m thinking of putting some pots in my southern window’s. I have some bamboo and a big rosemary plant inside right now, but I’m getting itchy for my garden!
