You missed the point by a mile... TPP Org is refuting any inclusion of “social issues” in its platform (although everything inevitably is a “social” issue). This tact is in direct opposition to conservative principles—and the Constitution’s foundation: UNALIENABLE RIGHTS, which are just that because they come from God, not government. What TPP is doing is fraudulent to the very conservative principles they pronounce themselves to uphold. In other words, they practice deception for the sake of gaining conservative members. That deception is revealed, and for that reason, TPP is losing membership.
Good night
“How would you like if I made you party to a contract without your consent, and enforced a liability upon you that you had no part in creating?”
Now you sound like a libertarian.
Read Frederic Bastiat’s work, “The Law” ... He was not a libertarian.

You may have the last word... I am off to bed. Good Night.
Winning The Future?
Uhm, methinks TC was refering to individual morals.

I was reading your post, then quickly abandoned it as soon as I got to the typo.
Whether you're talking about the movement or an actual organization, I'm surprised to hear that they are losing participants at this late date due to social issues. It's news to me.
How moral is defaulting on Social Security because generations of potential taxpayers were aborted?
Food for thought.
My question is, who defines what is moral and what is not? Some democrat socialist that just happens to be in power? Or pat buchanan, if he happens to be in power??? slippery road either way..
To TCH: Tsk!
It is easy to think the State has a lot of different objects — military, political, economic, and what not. But in a way things are much simpler than that.
The State exists simply to promote and to protect the ordinary happiness of human beings in this life. A husband and wife chatting over a fire, a couple of friends having a game of darts in a pub, a man reading a book in his own room or digging in his own garden — that is what the State is there for. And unless they are helping to increase and prolong and protect such moments, all the laws, parliaments, armies, courts, police, economics, etc., are simply a waste of time.
C. S. Lewis
“Plenty of conservatives who like Big Government, as long as it imposes their own will on the populace.”
Yeah. I’ve been flamed for pretty much saying what you’ve said. I’m getting a little tired of the slandering of people who want Constitutional government by those claiming to be conservatives.
“Its obvious you have no idea what libertarianism is about, other than the caricature that you use to beat up.”
Very obvious
No, this is perfectly incorrect. Morality, being the subject of self-constraint, is not determined at all by restraints or limitation external to the object of moral study. It is morally correct for a man to restrain himself from robbing a bank when there is nothing which would limit him from doing so. It is not morally correct for a man to desire to rob a bank, however much he is successfully thwarted. The quote demonstrates the moral incompetency of the attorney.
So if millions were not aborted default would be moral?
Or do you mean default is immoral because millions were aborted?
I don’t see the linkage either way.
The Tea Party Patriots’ Facebook page is overwhelmed by trolls. It seems like 80% of the posts are against them, many of them with foul language or racist slurs - yet they stay there undeleted. I can’t understand how they can’t afford to hire a moderator to deal with these trolls. Are they broke?
