BUS INFORMATION: http://istandwithwalker.com/
As the week has progressed, Wisconsin and the Nation have watched schools across Wisconsin close due to teachers participating in a sick out, the unions bussing people in from other states to inflate their rally numbers in Madison and legislators fleeing the state to avoid the vote on the budget repair bill.
Its time the voices of the Wisconsin people are heard.
We've had thousands of people show up for tea party events to rally to take our state back - but our work isn't done. Let's have our voices heard once again and show our state legislators that we support this bill. We need concerned Wisconsin citizens to show up at noon on Saturday, February 19th to voice our support for Gov. Walker and our conservative legislators! Tell your friends--let's set a turn out record! Remember to be peaceful and bring those signs!See More
Thanks for that video....terrific.
As a fellow Marquette University alum, we’re proud of Scott Walker (Marquette student same years I was there).
Go get ‘em Scott!!
I’d have the same worry about the PD, will they protect the peace or will they stand with unions.
There’s safety in numbers. :)
I pinged the one person I sort of know in that part of the world. I was gratified to find he was already planning on going.
‘_____but they’ve gotta sit in back’
L O L !!
Hope the goon in D.C. gets really irritated when his words are thrown back at him!
(Insert Pee Wee Herman’s laugh here - - -)!
Oh how I wish I could be there! I can’t be there in body but I’ll be there in spirit. I sent e-mails of support to Gov Walker and all the Wisconsin Republican legislators. So did many others, I’m sure.
All of yunz who are going - please be careful. And, as other freepers have suggested; take lots of pictures and video!
Standing strong with Walker and Tea Partiers in S. Texas.
Watch out for the union goons and rent-a-mobbers.
God Bless those who are going. I cannot be there, but will be there in spirit.
This is a good start, but it dramatizes a difference between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives are going to rally for three hours on a Saturday. Leftists come for days and try to shut down the capital by massing for days in the building and blocking public access. The Wisconsin Assembly has now recessed until next Tuesday because member security cannot be guaranteed.
God Bless Wisconsin!
I guess temperaments will flare up?
Let’s bring back sanity to Wisconsin!
FOX has news about the Tea Party in Wisconsin!
Can you imagine the idiot in the WH debating Walker? It would be hysterical.
Teleprompter time lag, it will be like having a live conversation with someone from the moon.
Walker asks a question, someone has to type it into the teleprompter and then Obama take a sentence and drags it out for five minutes.
I will be there!
Now they will see what people WHO HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING think
I don’t live in Wisconsin and can’t be there today but we’re all Wisconsinites these days!! God bless Scott Walker and all those who are trying to take our country back from the thugs.
Walker should have said the following when asked during his press conference yesterday about Obama’s comments: “With the mess that Obama has helped to create in Wash DC, he’s the last person with whom one should consult about budget issues. This is none of Obama’s business and he should merely shut his mouth since his ignorance is revealed every time he opens it. Next question.”
“I have often felt that way but this is within 120 miles on a Saturday...how could I not?”
God Bless you! I live only a little over two hours away...how could I not? I broke two social engagements today as well...how could I not?
We have to begin taking this seriously, the democrats are.
