One of the blue parts of Oregon. Otherwise Oregon is all red.

Keep in mind that the media suppressed these reports until the election was over. Even that being said, Wu nearly lost the last election in this solidly Democratic area.

No, it does not. As a resident of Oregon, and in Wu’s district, I can tell you that this place is a lost cause.

The Oregon Republican Party is the reason I’m not a Republican anymore.

However, I think the ‘rats will throw him under the bus next time so that they can run someone else. If Wu runs against Cornellis again, he just may lose.

It’s not that, Portland Oregon is a bastion of socialism and has been since the 1800’s. It’s also the largest metro area in the state. Its all in the numbers, and yes those numbers are dyed the same as berkley liberals. The rest of CD 1 is largely conservative, just overwhelmed by the sheer numbers.
